REVIEW: Thor God of Thunder #10

THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #10 reads almost like a parody of what we imagine Thor comics to be, and I mean that in a complimentary sense. Never has Thor’s world felt so epic, never have his stories felt so much like myths. Jason Aaron completely embraces the fable like aspects of his story, telling a fantastical parable of a man bent on revenge losing touch with the world and the hero that must stop him.

REVIEW: Thor God of Thunder #9

THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #9 is a visceral and impassioned fight scene between Thor’s from across time and Gorr the God Butcher that manages to hit every epic note it aims for. There’s a depth underneath all the clamor, too – Jason Aaron explores the different stages of a man’s life, with each Thor’s actions explained in quite moving and sincere omnipotent narrative.
