For some a year is enough time for someone to start to move on from a death and everyone has tried to be as understanding as possible but after Miles’ refusal to intervene by using his father being in the vicinity as an excuse but for everyone else he has taken it too far and it’s time to get back on the horse.

I didn’t want to have to say this, but this issue was a bit lacking. That’s not to say that it’s bad exactly. I simply found that, after being so pleased with issue #3, this one fell a little bit short. Expectations are a terrible thing that way.

It is now one year since not only the death of his mother, but since Miles decided he was no longer going to carry the mantle of Spider-Man. On a happier note his life doesn’t completely suck for a change because he now the Ultimate Universe’s Kate Bishop for a girlfriend.
