Is Matt Murdock truly out of his mind? The streets of New York run red with blood! Matt’s mind unravels as the Coyote continues to create chaos!

Just when you think this series couldn’t get any better, Mark Waid throws a curveball and blows your mind.

We start off with Matt doubting his sanity more than ever. One moment he’s swinging through the streets of New York, and the next he’s in his apartment. As the reader, you’re really not sure whether or not Matt’s gone bonkers. Even though he said he’s done with him, Foggy continues worrying about Matt. It’s a nice insight into how deep their friendship really is. His little slip-up this issue is sure to have some interesting complications down the road.

Chris Samnee should definitely be praised for his work on this series.  The way he conveys emotion through every character’s facial expressions, particularly Daredevil’s this issue, is really great and it makes the story so much better. It’s the little things that  Samnee does that make this series fun; drawing Hank Pym wearing a labcoat over his costume is just hilarious. His zany style compliments the tone and story of the last few issues perfectly.

By the end, Coyote’s real identity is revealed and it’s a shocker. One that I truly didn’t see coming. I’m eager to find out just how he was able to pull off the tricks he’s been plaguing Daredevil with lately (The hallucination of Milla Donovan in Matt’s apartment for instance). I hope it doesn’t go unexplained or is overlooked.
